was declare a bank holiday. Which turned out to be 10 days rather than
a single day. Closed all the banks in the land for ten days. And kept
a third of them closed permanently.

Tricky Dick took the dollar off the gold standard, pegging it to the
price of oil. So what we have had since 1972 is petro-dollars. Nothing
like the real thing.
What happens when the price of oil tanks, and becomes worthless? How
much will the dollar be valued at that point?
You are the victims of the greatest scam the world has ever seen, and you are complaining about the Dems *investing* your tax dollars, rather than *wasting* them on tax credits for the ones that are actually stealing from you, while increasing the debt that your kids, their kids and all future generations, have to try to pay for?
