it is still only 32bit, right? no 64?

That is right but then you can run 32bit on a 64 bit OS.
Just not my good old day of running 16 bit on a 64 bit OS

no, you could NOT run peerblock 32 on 64bit. BUT, they have changed that. there's a 64bit version of peerblock

If that is so then it is a 16 bit program.

Guess I'll have to try it out my self in a VM for self knowing.

no. there was a version of peerblock that would only run on 32bit.
it was just coded not to run on 64bit systems, you would get an error msg. now they have upgraded it.

Soounds good to me, glad someone picked up the ball, with me I never needed
the 64 bit being I was always running 16 bit doors for a bbs.

    Still a good deal!

honestly i dont think i have a need for this on a 64bit system; i've always used to to protect my bbses that ran on a 32bit os.

Agreed om my Dell workstation and my laptops and when using my Dell poweredge
servers I have always used symantec endpoint protection. I used that and
peerblock on the bbs putters. But after buying a checkpoint firewall
I then installed pfSense that uses snort, pfBlocker and Squid no need
    for peerblock.

    Just a thought...

This. I'm a huge fan of pfSense... does "everything".

Never needs rebooting, never nags me about updates.

endpoint is no longer being developed, right?

No I still get daily updates, 1# they sold it to Broadcom Inc
2# or it is just another name they spit out for the same thing.
