      Title: Mung Dal

      Yield: 4 Servings
 
    1/2 c  Mung beans
      2 c  Water
      1 md Tomato
    1/2 ts Cumin seed
      1 tb Ghee
    1/2 sm Green chile
      1 ts Ginger; finely chopped
      1 sm Onion
           Lemon juice
    3/4 ts Salt
      1 pn Turmeric
 
  Cook mung beans with a pinch of turmeric for about 45 minutes. Add
  more water if needed. Heat ghee and fry cumin seeds. Add the chopped
  onion, green chile, and ginger. When onions are golden, add tomato
  and cook for a few minutes more. Add dal. Add salt and lemon juice to
  taste.
