August 12: National Gooey Butter Cake Day

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

Title: Gooey Butter Cake #1

Yield: 12 Servings

2 pk Yellow cake mix
1/2 lb Butter melted
4 Eggs

MMMMM--------------------------TOPPING-------------------------------
1 lb Powdered sugar
2 Eggs
8 oz Cream cheese

Combine the first three ingredients. Mix well. Place into
a 9" X 13" pan. Press the layer in evenly.

Beat the next 3 ingredients together very well, until
very light. Pour over the top of the dough layer in the
baking pan.

Bake 45 - 60 minutes at 350oF.
