Broccoli Rabe With Figs, Garlic, and Pine Nuts

      Title: Broccoli Rabe With Figs, Garlic, And Pine Nuts
 Categories: Italian
      Yield: 4 Servings
      2 bn Broccoli rabe;
           - stems trimmed,
           - leaves coarsely chopped
      1 tb Olive oil
      2 cl Garlic; minced
    1/2 c  Fresh or dried figs;
           - coarsely chopped
    1/4 c  Pine nuts
           Salt
           Black pepper; freshly ground
  Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the broccoli rabe
  and cook for 5 minutes. Drain well and set aside.
  Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the
  garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add the figs and
  pine nuts and cook until the pine nuts are lightly toasted, about 1
  minute. Stir in the broccoli rabe and season to taste with salt and
  pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until tender, about 5 minutes.
  Serve hot.
