Title: Minted Walnuts

Yield: 1 Batch
1 c Sugar
1 tb Light corn syrup
1/8 ts Salt
6 Marshmallows
1/2 ts Essence of peppermint -OR-
3 dr Peppermint oil
3 c Walnut halves
Boil sugar, syrup, and salt until it reaches very soft ball stage.
Remove from heat. Add marshmallows, stirring until melted. Add
peppermint. Stir in walnut halves, when coated, place on waxed paper
to cool. Will keep indefinitely in tightly covered can.
