    Given that in the past when one AI system was given a certain amount
    of time to work on a task, and it was later discovered that it had
    rewritten its own code to give it more time, it begs the question,
    How long would it take for it to find and turn off its kill switch?

    Exactly. I don't think most of these people know what they are really dealing with, and they are not listening to the few who do.
