    Hello everybody!


    In response to Paul's announcement that he would be closing the news gate on September 2nd, I have been working for the past few months to
    configure and test my own news server and gateway. It was a step-by-step process, with each piece of the puzzle needing to be solved before
    moving on to the next.

    Within the next 48 hours, my new gateway will be active, providing a two-way link between the Usenet group "comp.sys.cbm" and this echo.

    Yes, but in saying that no spam filter will ever be 100% perfect.
