You do know that the original Koine Greek isn't too specific for
prepositions? It could be "in" or "on" the hand/wrist (one word for this
area, equiv to "bras" in Latin)

I never worried about the literal number, because the real concern is
ACCEPTING it as your mark of allegiance tot he Beast.

& the Number is really just a string of Roman numeral, all of them in order, ujp to 500 (D), a la: DCLXVI (so roughly 654321 in English. . )

In Hebrew, 666 is also a word: Har Megido ("Armageddon", the mountain of Megido)

Those dummies whoi tattooed 666 on themselves, thinking "six, six, six)
didn't do so with truer understanding, so they're not in trouble, but they should be ashamed of marking the body God put a soul into, though!

The number is not "six six six, it's "6-hundred, sixty & six" literally, as written in the original Scripture.

Theories abound; My two faves are:
a) ot was chosen just as a funky pattern (654321) because patterns werte thought to be magical
& my fave:
b) 6 is the number of man (created on the 6th day; 7 =
perfection/comnpletion, so, as Hebrew uses repetition for emphasis ("I say
say to you" becomes "Truly, I say to you")

So 666 emphathises that the Beast falls as far short of God as is possible.

Man is not completed, that's why God did not look, after that creation & declare it "good" as every other day of creation.

It is said that the angel were speaking with God after the creation of Man,
to point out how they noted that each day He alternated between creating something "above" & something "below" but they knerw He planned a 7-day Creation, so how would He maintain the pattern of equality?

God replied that on thr 7th day He would create something that allows man to live both "above" & "below" (spiritually), that being the 7th day -- the Sabbath, when man can rest ("take a breath") as even the Divine(spirit) did, but yet remain a man(flesh)

The angels then rejoiced at the beauty of this! & the rest, my friend, is history. . .

It's our job to finish creatoin of ourselves, by polishing ourselves to
always be of a higher order than we started off as (animalistic) & to elevate ourselves to be One with the Creator upon our deaths.

I'm sorry, but I don't ascribe to the Roman teaching that we are born evil.
God don't create junk -- we are born with our souls in balance & our choices either elevate them or dirty them. . .

Do we wish to live so one day we will join with our heavenly Father, or do we prefer to live so we eventually live in the soil with the animals & their
dung, with our souls destroyed as unworthy of eternity?

I've made my choice. . . & try hard every day to live like it.

The problem with saying every person is born worthy of death for Adam's sin
is it contradicts God's teaching that nobody shall be put to death for the
sins of his father (unlike in the Hammurabbi Code) but each shall be put to death only for his own capital crimes.

The Romans introduced so much error & lies into Christianity, but the Truth never falters for those who, as Jesus instructed, search & seek intently for the truth.

& the praying to saints. . . BAH!!! Solomon prayed, knowing he was currently highly blessed, that all who seek God directly will be heard & their prayers answered. Going to another in prtayer is like worshipping the sun for the
heat it gives, when it was God alone Who created the sun & the light & warmth it gives! Pagans worship that which is only creation(stars, trees, winds). True knowers of God worship Him alone & directly.

One of the poems The Good Lord gave me was "My prayers are only to The
Lord". The Catholics venerate Mary, saying she was perfect. The thing is,
if she was sinless, WHY did she say in the Magnificat that "My soul does magnify The Lord, and my spirit has rejoiced in God, My Saviour". If she
was sinless, WHY did she need a Saviour??

The concept of Salvation is so simple, yet so many reject it because of
its simplicity. The Philippian Jailer asked Paul and Silas "What must I
do to be saved??". In Acts 16:31, Paul said "Believe on The Lord Jesus
Christ, and you shall be saved, and your house". The Gospel is so simple
that a child can understand it.

As a side note, I love the deals with the children, especially the "children's sermon bloopers"...where the kids, in their innocence, say the darndest things (like the old show that was hosted by the late Art
Linkletter). You know The Lord had to be smiling on these. The one I
remember is where this young girl tells him that "when I grow up, I want
to have a lot of kids". When he asks her what she wants to be, she replied
"A nun"...it brought the house down...the look on Art's face was just priceless!! <BG>

The 2 most hated verses are:

1) John 14:6, where Jesus says "I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life.

Okay, sorry, just waxing poetic today. .

One of the poems The Good Lord gave me was "My prayers are only to The Lord". The Catholics venerate Mary, saying she was perfect. The thing is,
if she was sinless, WHY did she say in the Magnificat that "My soul does magnify The Lord, and my spirit has rejoiced in God, My Saviour". If she
was sinless, WHY did she need a Saviour??

The concept of Salvation is so simple, yet so many reject it because of its simplicity. The Philippian Jailer asked Paul and Silas "What must I
do to be saved??". In Acts 16:31, Paul said "Believe on The Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved, and your house". The Gospel is so simple that a child can understand it.

As a side note, I love the deals with the children, especially the "children's sermon bloopers"...where the kids, in their innocence, say the darndest things (like the old show that was hosted by the late Art Linkletter). You know The Lord had to be smiling on these. The one I remember is where this young girl tells him that "when I grow up, I want
to have a lot of kids". When he asks her what she wants to be, she replied "A nun"...it brought the house down...the look on Art's face was just priceless!! <BG>

The 2 most hated verses are:

1) John 14:6, where Jesus says "I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life.
No one comes to The Father, but through Me".

2) Acts 4:12, where Peter says "Neither is there salvation in any other.
For there is no other name under Heaven, given among men, whereby we
must be saved".

Hal Lindsey also noted "If the believers ON Jesus, and not just IN
Him, are wrong...the most we'll lose are a few petty sins...which
don't make anyone happy anyway".

I add to that "And, one day, we'll know who's right".

Christian Comedian Mark Lowery, wrote the song "Mary, Did You Know?",
said "I still have a lot of questions for her when I get to Heaven"...
such as if Jesus had a hero or a girlfriend...and if she ever walked
into His Room, and said to Him "Clean up this mess!! Were you born in
a barn??" <BG>.

Mark was telling about his motorcycle wreck, and noted as they
put him in the ambulance, "they cut my britches off!!"...adding
"Your Momma Was Right!!". He paused for all the laughter, as the
audience knew what was coming next -- "Clean Underwear!! Always!!" <BG>

who feel led of The Lord to give $100 to the new building, stand up". He
pushed a button, and 20 people sprang to their feet (like they had a choice??!!). "Excellent!!" the pastor says.

He repeats his petition, raising it to $500, pushes another button, and
30 people sprang to their feet. "Glory!!" the pastor says.

Then, he repeats his petition, raising it to $1000. He pulled the master control switch, and electrocuted 14 deacons. <G>

I'm registered with our National Do Not Call Rgistry, to boot!

I can have any call, even blocked numbers, traced by hitting *57 after the caqll -- the info goes directly to our national police's call fraud & harrassnent dept.

I noted a nwes item recently that my telco had been explicitly ordered to
block spam calls better. 9prolly source of the robocalls is Skype or such &
no way to prove who started it, especially as they use VPNs to bounce around the world & back. . so they went to the next best way to stem the tide --
the telco accepting the calls & relaying the to me(& others). .

Our federal communications org has before fined a corp over $1bn(small
potatoes for Bell) for spamming. . . so everyone knows they have power & authority & will use it!

As for the BBS message, I figure once a month is sufficient.

I agree, especially considering the frequency of callers to Fido & the low numbers. . . in 1,000+ posts a month, several of the ame ad might get lost,
but not in today's traffic. . .

True story: Two of Canada's maajor psarties once merged to create a new

Reminds me of the story of a chuyrch that needed much money for repairing the crumbling ceiling.

The pastor got in the pulpit & asked who would pledge $100, $200, & still the town's richest old man sat unmoving.

in real life, as a kid went with my dad bar fishing for sockeye salmon, 10mi drive, 30 minute hike through the woodfs on a trail only he could see, then
set ourselves up for a day of peace & quiet on the shore of the mighty Fraser River!

Uaed to get our limit of 5 fish (15lbs+ sockeyes--the best meat on Earth)

Now it's $12 for an 8-10lb sockeye & only if you're friends with a First Nations member (I have a courtesy cousin, but it's not worth the 10hour trip
to the coast for her, for an order of less than 100 fish, guaranteed)

Safeway is over $25/lb,. so nuts to that & double nuts to Atlantic(aka
farmed) salmon -- garbage meat!

I do love my sockeye, though. . . & miss it. . .

Thank you, sir, for your wisdom.

Admittedly, it's tempting to "do the wrong thing"...but in the long
run, it's bad for you.

This is a lesson that He has taught me over, and over again...

The context for it was what King David did...committing adultery with Bathsheba, getting her pregnant. So, he had her husband, Uriah, sent off to the hottest part of the battle line, where he'd be killed. David thought that "he had gotten away with it", but God saw it all...and sent the prophet Nathan to "let the cat out of the bag". He told David a story about a pitiless rich man. When David said angrily "That man deserves to die!!", Nathan thundered "YOU ARE THAT MAN!!".

David did repent and confess his sin, but he lost the child that he
got out of wedlock, and his family and life were destroyed...not to mention that his kingdom was taken away from him. What a price to pay
to enjoy "the pleasures of sin for a season".

Again, I feel the need to read The Good Book again. Your paraphrase really drills directly to the point of that lesson...

I can only hope that He continues to forgive me.

Admittedly, we don't like to hear about stuff like this, as it hurts
our pride. But, pride was the first sin in the universe...

Aye, you're quite right! And why I chose to excise my soul, rather than marry
a too-proud woman! And yet, that wound has never healed...

Our pride won't do any of us a bit of good in Hell...
and if we had gotten what we deserved, we would've been stamped out of existence long ago.

This is a lesson that He has taught me over, and over again...

It's like the T-shirt that noted "Lead me not into temptation -- I'll
find my own way". <G>

Again, I feel the need to read The Good Book again. Your paraphrase
really drills directly to the point of that lesson...

I need to do likewise...but I will say that He has given me a Gospel
Poetry Collection as a ministry to the saved and a witness to the lost.
There are some secular ones on my hobbies...such as the BBS, amateur radio, and square dancing...but most are "sacred". You can find all of these at http://www.wx4qz.net/swj.htm -- over 550 poems are in there.

I can only hope that He continues to forgive me.

As the Scripture notes, "The blood of Jesus cleanses from all sin", but
that is ONLY for those who have done "the one thing God requires"...to believe on The One He Has sent (John 6:29, Acts 16:31, plus John 14:6,
and Acts 4:12 -- the latter two are the most hated verses by the world.
If only one sin was not paid for, Christ would still be in the grave, and
all of us would be on our way to Hell and The Lake Of Fire with Satan and
his demonic hordes (who hate our guts anyway, and want all of us to burn
with them). Yet, one must make that decision for Christ BEFORE they take their last breath...tomorrow, let alone the next 5 seconds, is promised
to no one.

All they want is "prosperity gospel" (name it, claim it), feel good, messages that "tickle ones ears". God's Grace is a License to Serve, and NOT a License to Sin.
They are afraid if they "preach the whole counsel of God" (what He called
an abomination then, is still such today), will drive folks away, and the offering plates will dry up.

It's like Josh McDowell, who penned "More Than A Carpenter", plus
"Evidence That Demands A Verdict". He set out to refute Christianity as a farce, but when he was unable to do so, he got saved. He noted that before
he was saved "the most I got out of church was the 25 cents I put in the offering plate, and the 35 cents that I took out for a milk shake". And sadly, that's about all most people get out of church.

Aye, you're quite right! And why I chose to excise my soul, rather than
marry a too-proud woman! And yet, that wound has never healed...

The first woman I was engaged to always wanted me to take her to the most expensive restaurant, always pick up the tab, and to forsake everything else in my life (hobbies, etc.) outside of work, and spend every waking moment with her. In other words, she was going to do all the taking, and I was to
do all the giving. That does NOT work in a relationship. I broke off the engagement and relationship just before Christmas, 1985...and she accused
me of "using her".

With my late wife, she didn't care whether we ate at McDonald's or The
Olive Garden -- to her, "food is food". We were friends for 17 1/2 years,
and never thought about marriage...let alone to each other. We hit it off
in 2002, got married in 2003, and she died of a heart attack 3 weeks prior
to our 4th anniversary in 2007. She had a defective aortic heart valve
since birth...she was only 48 when she died. I didn't marry until I was
43, but never dreamed I'd be a widower at 47. I never remarried, as at
this stage of life, most folks have too much "baggage" (they or their
kids are in trouble with the law, they can't manage money, the kids
treat the parents like crap, etc.) -- I didn't want or need that "drama"
in my life. Because of medical issues, my wife and I never had kids...
and the way the world is today, I'm glad I never had any.

I enjoy listening to the end of times podcasts and stuff about the end of the age.. It certainly is!

It is the end of days. I'm into Bible Prophecy (at least one third of
The Bible is prophecy), and as one commentator noted "Things aren't falling apart...they are falling into place". Nothing that occurs is a surprise to The Lord, and He has it all under control...no matter what the world may think.

And this is where I fail, as a Christian. I continue to commit sins,

The thing is, if you've done the one thing God requires...to believe on
The One He Has Sent, repented (changed your mind about sin), and asked
Christ to save you (and you're not just "going through the motions"), He
sees you as righteous as He is.

We STILL have the sin nature, even after we're saved. As Christian singer
Amy Grant-Gill (she's married to Vince Gill now...and I understand she has
a heart condition), noted years ago..."we still wake up in the morning with body odor, bad breath, and the call of nature".

Now, God's Grace is a "License To Serve", and NOT a "License To Sin".
All Christians have at least one area where they are particularly vulnerable. Satan is known as "The Accuser Of The Brethren", basically "the prosecuting attorney" to show why "these phony Christians belong in Hell". There are a
lot going through the motions...but Christianity is not a religion...it's a relationship with Jesus Christ. There are a large number of folks "playing church", but they've never asked Christ to save them. You can fool the preacher and everyone else, but The Lord sees and knows everything you're doing.

Hal Lindsey, author of "The Late Great Planet Earth", "Satan Is Alive
And Well On Planet Earth", and "There's A New World Coming", noted in
one of his books, that in The Supreme Court Of The Universe, Satan
comes in with huge dossiers on everyone...especially the Christians.

I will use myself as the "defendant here". For the Christian, Jesus
is "The Believers Defense Attorney". When Satan comes to testify
against me (and I'm a sinner, but a sinner saved by the Grace of God),
Jesus says to God The Father "Daryl believed on me in 1978. The
forgiveness I purchased for him was applied to him at that time. This
is our only plea". And, God The Father bangs the gavel down, and says
"Case Dismissed".

I'll also note two songs:

1) What Sins Are You Talking About?? I Don't Remember Them Anymore.
2) What Can Wash Away My Sin?? Nothing But The Blood Of Jesus.

Sadly, many churches won't preach on The Blood Of Jesus, The Old
Rugged Cross, Sin, and Repentance, because they're afraid it'll
offend their congregations. So, they just preach a "feel good,
prosperity gospel message", with no mention of the topics I just
noted. They're afraid the offering plates will dry up if they do.

These are the ones who instead of being at The Bema Judgment Seat
Of Christ, will be at The Judgment Of The Great White Throne...and
pleading "Lord!! We prophesied, cast out demons, and did many
wonderful works in Your Name". And, The Lord will say to them "Who
Are You?? I Never Knew You At Any Time. Depart from Me, you workers
of evil".

The Apostle Paul even noted "the things I know I should be doing,
and want to do...and the things I know I shouldn't be doing, I do.
Oh, wretched man that I am!! Who shall save me from the body of this
death??".

Now, continuous unbroken tolerance of sins left and right, should
lead a person to question whether they have actually been born again, spiritually. All of us have at least one skelton in our closets (some
have more), and God already knows all about them. But the Blood Of
Jesus washed our sins away, into the sea of forgetfulness...and as
the late missionary Corrie Ten Boom noted, "NO FISHING!!". Even one
sin NOT paid for would mean that Christ had not risen from the dead";
and as the Apostle Paul noted "we would be the most miserable of all creatures". The Resurrection is God's Seal Of Approval on the Work
that Christ did on The Cross.

Now, if a Christian continues in sin, the Holy Sprit will convict
them, and they will be "spiritually miserable". God will also do like
a loving parent...and discipline His Children.

My church is doing a Bible Study in the book of Job right now, and
his three friends (more like "frenemies" -- they seem like friends,
but they are enemies) basically said "it's the sin you and your family
has done, and you're getting what you deserve". What his friends didn't
see what that God asked Satan twice "Have you considered my servant
Job?? There is none like him on the Earth, that fears God, and shuns
evil". God permitted Satan to take everything Job had, but not to
kill him. In the end, God restored Job, and gave him twice as much
as he had before.

1 John 1:9-10 notes "If we confess our sin, He is faithful and just
to forgive us our sin, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we
say we have no sin, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us".

Romans 3:23 notes "For all have sinned, and fallen short of God's
Glory", and Romans 3:10 notes "There is none righteous, not one".
But, Romans 8:1 declares "There is NO CONDEMNATION to those in
Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit".

Until we die, or are raptured, ALL Christians are going to have
to deal with their sin nature daily...there's no getting around it.
But, when we sin (as we will), and we go to God, and humbly confess
it, and ask for His Forgiveness, He will grant it. Besides, when
Jesus died on The Cross, every sin that mankind would ever commit
was paid for. Just before He died, He shouted "Tetelestai!", which
translates to "It Is Finished". Basically, all of mankind's sins
(except the sin of a person rejecting His Free Love Gift) were
paid for.

Now, the carnal Christians may not have many (if any) rewards at
the Bema Judgment Seat Of Christ, but they'll still be in Heaven;
even though they'll have nothing to present to The Lord. But, for
the believer, the issue of sin, having been settled at The Cross,
will NOT even be considered at the Judgment Seat Of Christ. This
judgment, after the rapture of the church, ONLY examines the WORKS
of the believers...and NOT the believers themselves. If it did,
Heaven would be empty.

I even saw a commentary recently, where this preacher "yelled at God"...
and I confess I've done that. The Scripture says that "God won't give
us more than we can handle"...but after a car wreck and plumbing
incident within 2 months of each other a year ago, I was beginning to
wonder. I was literally in tears for a week, and when my cousin called
on my birthday, I nearly hung up on her. It was the closest I ever got
to considering suicide.

It is OK for a Christian to be depressed...and Satan wants Christians
to feel like there are still "no good worms before God". John 3:18 notes
"He that believes on Jesus is NOT condemned...but he that doesn't believe
on Jesus is condemned ALREADY". The thing is, Jesus lived the life we
could not, and "He who knew no sin at all, became sin for us, so that we
might become the righteousness of God in Him".

Contempoary Christian Music artist Don Francisco, who did the great
song "He's Alive", did one called "No Condemnation". Basically, he's
sitting by his window on a rainy afternoon, thinking of all the sins he
had done the night before...and he feels like "a useless no good worm
before The Lord" Then, Jesus said to him "Satan the accuser has been whispering in your ear. You just tell him 'You're Forgiven', he has
got no business here. Because it doesn't matter what you've done...it
matters what you'll be. There is no condemnation, when The Son has set
you free". When I think of this, it brings tears to my eyes, and I think
of the chorus "How Marvelous! How Wonderful! And my song shall ever be!!
How Marvelous! How Wonderful! Is My Saviour's Love For Me!!".

He has given me many talents, including a Gospel Poetry Collection,
with over 560 poems to His Glory. There are some secular ones on my
hobbies, like the BBS (of course <G>), ham radio, and square dancing,
and some tribute poetry for certain individuals in my life. The entire collection is on the web at http://www.wx4qz.net/swj.htm -- designed
as a Ministry To The Saved, and a Witness To The Lost.

I used to do mini concerts when I sang in choirs years ago, but my
declining health has put an end to that. After one concert, they wanted
to pay me, and I declined...saying they should use that money for the
church. If someone is won to Christ through the poetry, that is more
than enough pay for me. That is treasure I can lay up in Heaven...where
moth and rust don't destroy, and where thieves can't break through and
steal. And, after one concert, they said "We didn't know you were going
to preach to us". I replied "Well, it is right out of The Word Of God.
You can't do any better than that!!".

I can't write poetry...it's truly a gift from God...and I give Him all
the Glory for it.

Now, a person can choose to have The Lord Jesus pay their sin debt...or
they can pay it themselves forever in The Lake Of Fire, where there is no escape. God is a Gentleman, and He will NOT force anyone to accept His Son.
In short, if the believers ON Jesus, and NOT just IN Him are wrong...we
won't lose much when we die. And, one day, we'll KNOW who is right.

Also, I will note a lapel I saw on a church choir director years ago...
it was 2 question marks. I asked him about it, and this was his reply.

"There are two questions I have to ask you. First, if you were to die
within the next 60 seconds, would you know beyond the shadow of a doubt,
that Heaven would be your home?? And, second, if you were standing before Almighty God right now, and He said 'Give me one reason WHY I should let
you into My Heaven', what would you tell Him??".

My answers would be "Yes", and "Because of what Jesus Christ did for me
on The Old Rugged Cross Of Calvary".

To me, if that's not good enough to get me into Heaven, nothing is. It's
the least that I can do in gratitude and service to Him...as I could never repay Him for what He did for me. And, I'm sure other "true believers" would echo what I said. Yet, you can NOT pray someone else into Heaven, or out of Hell. If they don't ask Christ to save them before they die, they're going
to Hell by default. Plus, tomorrow...let alone the next 15 seconds...is promised to no one.

As 1 Corinthians 1:18 notes, "The Preaching Of The Cross is to those who
die in their sins, foolishness. But, to the saved, it's the Power of
Almighty God". In short, it's God's Creation, and His Rules. He made the
Plan Of Salvation so simple, but many will reject it because of its simplicity.

When the Philippian jailer asked Paul and Silas "What must I do to be saved??", Paul replied "Believe On The Lord Jesus Christ" (Acts 16:31).
Romans 10:9-10, 13 note "If you will confess with your mouth The Lord
Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead,
you'll be saved. For with the heart, man believes unto righteousness,
and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation. For whosoever
shall call upon The Name Of The Lord shall be saved".

Why confess your sins to a preacher, priest, etc.?? He is just as much a sinner as you are, according to Romans 3:23 ("For ALL have sinned, and
come short of the Glory of God"), and Romans 3:10 ("As it is written...
there is NONE righteous...not one"). Yet, many believe that certain
religious figures are without sin.

The preacher, priest, etc. could use those sins as blackmail against you...but The Lord would never do that. If you've repented (changed
your mind about sin), and asked Christ to be your Lord and Saviour,
He has cast your sins into "the sea of forgetfulness", and He says
about that location, "where I will remember them no more". The late
Corrie Ten Boom said about that lake, "No Fishing!!".

The Lord's earthly mother, Mary, who raised him, along with her
husband, Joseph (he was Jesus' step-father, as Almighty God was (and
is) His real Father)...said "My soul does magnify The Lord. And, my
spirit has rejoiced in God, My Saviour".

If she was sinless, as many believe (especially the Catholics), *WHY*
did she say her firstborn son was her Saviour?? And, why did she spend
all that money for a sin offering of turtledoves if she was sinless??

Then, the Catholics and others believe you have to "do good works" for
your salvation. Isaiah 64:6 says "Your righteousness is as filthy rags" (literally, bloody menstrual cloths), and Ephesians 2:8-9 says "For by
Grace are you saved through faith. This is not of yourselves...it is
The Gift of God...not of works, lest anyone should boast".

When I've asked Catholics these questions, they have no answer for them.

Some believe that the Catholic Church is "the great whore of the book
of Revelation"...but that won't be known until after the Rapture. Yet,
much of what the Pope is doing goes against Biblical principles...such
as saying "gays and athiests will be in Heaven". I see nothing of that
in The Bible. What God said as an abomination millenia ago, is still
the same. If He did change, all of us would've been consumed by His
Righteous Fire...and if He gave us what we deserved, we would've been
stamped out of existence long ago.

Satan has many duped by the lie that "there are many ways to Heaven"...
yet these 2 verses contradict that:

1) John 14:6 -- "I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life. No one comes to
The Father, but through Me". -- Jesus Christ

2) Acts 4:12 -- "Neither is there salvation in any other. For there is
no other name under Heaven, given among mankind, whereby we must be
saved". -- The Apostle Peter after Pentecost

Those are the 2 most hated verses in the Bible, by the majority of
mankind. Those that want nothing of God, Jesus, or Biblical Christianity
in their Earthly Life, will also be given that during eternity...and it
will be a decision that they regret forever.

The plan of salvation is so simple...yet many reject it because of
its simplicity. When the Philppian jailer asked the Apostles Paul and
Silas "What must I do to be saved?", he was told "Believe on The Lord
Jesus Christ" (Acts 16:31).

Simply put, it's God's Creation, and it's His Rules.

thing God requires (believing on The One He has sent, in the Person of

There is a thing as "righteous anger". It's God's Creation and His
Rules. The world says "we're intolerant", because we won't engage in
their "lifestyles". 1 Corinthians 1:18 notes "The preaching of The Cross
is to them who die in their sins, foolishness and stupidity. But, to the
saved, it's the Power of Almighty God". There are many that proclaim "We
will not have Christ reign over us". Well, God, being a Gentleman, sooner
more than later, will give them what they wanted. Truly, the days of Noah
and Lot are here...and God isn't going to wait forever for mankind to
repent (the worldwide flood of Noah, and the firebombing of Sodom and
Gomorrah are evidence of that).

For the believers on Christ (not just "going through the motions"),
His Grace is "A license to serve, NOT a license to sin". Plus, these
3 verses offer comfort:

1) John 3:18 - He that believes on Jesus is not condemned. But, he
who does not is condemned already.

2) Romans 8:1 - There is no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus,
who walk not after the flesh, but after the spirit.

3) Acts 16:31 - Believe on The Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be
saved.

4) Romans 10:9-10, 13 - If you will confess with your mouth The Lord
Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead,
you shall be saved. For with the heart, man believes unto righteousness;
and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For whosoever shall
call upon The Name of The Lord shall be saved.

5) 1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to
forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

For those who've accepted Christ as Lord and Savior, all of our sins
are in "the sea of forgetfulness"..."as far as the east is from the
west".

Again, the believers still have the sin nature, and we'll sin until
we die, or are raptured. But, at the Bema Seat Judgment in Heaven, which
will occur after the rapture of the church...the issue of sin, having
been settled at The Cross, won't even be considered. Rewards will be
gained or lost, but they'll still be in Heaven.

Satan is "the god of this world", and the majority of mankind want
nothing to do with Biblical Christianity. All you have to do is try
to bring that up in some of the "religion" echoes, and it becomes an
instant flame war. Christianity is not a religion...it's a relationship
with Jesus Christ. Many folks say that because of "so many Christian hypocrites...if that's Christianity, I want no part of it". Every
person will stand before The Lord one day...either as their Savior,
or as their Judge. I tell people "Don't worry about my sins on Judgment Day...you won't be asked about them".

For those who refuse to accept Christ in this life, they will answer
for every sin in thought, word, and deed, that they ever did. Instead
of being their "Friend For Life" for eternity...to these, Jesus Christ
will be "Their Worst Nightmare".

Once you witness the Gospel to someone (planting the seed), that
person's blood is off your hands. If they don't want to repent of
their sin and accept Christ, that's their problem, not yours. Only
God can break the stone cold heart of someone. Jesus Himself said
in the instance where your "witness" is spurned, shake the dust off
your feet, and move on. If you try to "cram the Bible down their throat", you'll drive them further away.

WWJD: What Would Jesus Do? This isn't a joke, it's an honest question. With so many people belittling and deriding Him, how did He cope? How
did He keep to His heavenly mission?

He didn't have the sin nature as we do. Otherwise, He could not have
been the perfect sacrifice to take away our sin. Hebrews 9:22 notes
"Without the shedding of blood, there is no remission for sin". Most
churches won't talk about The Cross, The Blood Of Jesus, etc., as they
view Christianity as "a slaughterhouse religion".

Millenia ago, God declared that "The Life Is In The Blood". Without
blood in your body, you'll physically die. So, those like myself on a
blood thinner (Eliquis, for congestive heart failure and atrial
fibrillation) have to be very careful with injuries.

The Bible notes that "He who knew no sin at all, became sin for us,
so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him". Grace has
been defined as G)od's R)iches A)t C)hrist's E)xpense. It doesn't seem
like an even exchange...He got our sin, and we got His Righteousness.
When Jesus cried out from The Cross "My God!! My God!! Why have You
forsaken Me??", it was because Christ became the embodiment of sin
for ALL of mankind...as He had no sin of His own. But, God can NOT
look at, or abide in the presence of sin...so, He had to turn His
Back on His Son. Yet, the Resurrection was God's Seal Of Approval on
the work Christ did on The Cross.

During the final week of Jesus' earthly life, many things occurred.

Nowadays, churches and people would rather have a "prosperity,
'name it, claim it' gospel", with NOT A WORD on righteous living,
sin, repentance, or judgment. These will be the ones that on
Judgment Day, The Lord tells them "I never knew you...you are
not welcome in my Heaven".
