    Why should folks be required to use their "REAL NAME" in fidonet land? Folks should be free to express themselves any way they want, even if their way is not the same as whatever happens to be your way.
    This would be up to the Moderator.

    It's messy as it is "vague" not tidy and unclean.

    His/her/its choice.
    There is no longer a need for speculation, he's not so vauge any longer.
    His name is David Duff according to the lastest Nodelist.

    There are no moderators in Fidonet. But that is beside the point.
    Whether an individual uses his/her real name is irrelevant when
    reading and writing messages in any echo in Fidonet.

    So that begs the question -
