• SyncTerm simulated baud rate keys changed?

From Nightfox@VERT/DIGDIST to Digital Man on Wed Jul 1 09:03:55 2020
With SyncTerm, you used to be able to change the simulated baud rate using the Alt-Up and Alt-Down arrow keys. Now, it seems the alt-arrow keys change the terminal size. How do you change the simulated baud rate now?
Would this be a question for Deuce? I've asked in the Synchronet IRC channel too.

I sometimes use the baud rate simulation to test my mods at different baud rates to help identify areas where I can do screen redraw/refresh optimizations.

    I believe it's ctrl-up and ctrl-down now.

On the menu (Alt-Z on Windows), it says it's Ctrl-Up/Down to change the emulated baud rate.

    Ah, thanks.

I didn't know there was a menu with the Alt-Z key.. But I seem to have something else responding to Alt-Z on my system - When I press Alt-Z, I get a GeForce menu (it's probably the Nvidia graphics card driver/software handling that).

Ctrl... up and down remains the same.

It was always Alt - up/dn in previous versions of Syncterm...

Yes, it did change recently. My comment above was to clarify to
Paulie420 that Ctrl... may remain the same (perhaps for the last
couple of revisions), but it wasn't always that way...

I must of just messed up and typed remains... I only figured it out because my alt-u/d didn't work.

    :P oops.

Had a horrible/similar issue with ATI drivers blocking a certain hotkey
I was using in MS Terminal and VS Code (ctrl-shit-c/v), took a concerted effort to track down what was interfering.

Also seem to be having an issue not being able to open windows
notepad... I can open other editors without issue... may have to
re-install windows. Run a few antimalware/av apps to no avail.

Almost done on the project that had me tethered to windows anyway, so
may make the jump back to my popos drive at that point...
