    He probably means the fact that days and days go by without any users calling in and why do we even bother when there isn't an audience.

    I still do it, as I enjoy it...and it's one of the few hobbies that
    I can still do. Plus, the BBS, and my other 2 hobbies of ham radio,
    and square dancing, help me forget about the other stressful things
    in my life.
