How do you truncate users in the user editor on Linux?

    GTKmonitor has that feature.

What if you can't get access to that? Is there another way?

Well I applied for 2 accounts by mistake so I decided to delete all the user files and start over again. That seemed to fix my issue. :-)

Just make sure you have your settings set to re-use deleted accounts
after N days (even 365 days of preservation would probably be okay) and
that you have it set to delete old/unused accounts and they'll get re-used.

I used to have the reuse set pretty short. In the end, on modern drives (especially ssd/nvme) you can have many thousands of user records and
will never notice a performance difference.
