  • VPS in Vancouver/Calgary

    Hi!
    First time posting here :)
    I am searching for a VPS provider either in Vancouver (preferred) or Calgary. It has to be fully owned by a Canadian entity.
    It's for a personal non-profit project/test.

    Hey again!
    I'm writing it here, so that it will be kept documented.
    I found the following VPS providers fully Canadian owned:

    * LunaNode (https://www.lunanode.com/) with DC in Toronto
    * CA Cloud (https://cacloud.com/) with DC in Toronto and Vancouver.

    Both appear to be running OpenStack. The first allows also FreeBSD,
    and the latter is a bit pricier.

    Anything else Canadian owned was around VMWare hosting for companies.

    Only thing I've found is gthost.com .. however I doubt they are Canadian owned.. Even though they list their address in Ontario. But I use them for a VPS in Vancouver. For my IRC Network. (Newnet). I went with them since the included traffic available was much higher than other places I found.

    For some reason, your message went unnoticed. Apologies.
    I was going for this one instead, https://www.cacloud.com
    it's full Canadian and has a Vancouver datacenter.
    There's also https://www.lunanode.com/ but they have a Toronto
    only datacenter, still feels based on OpenStack.
    But the project is on hold at the moment.
