If anyone at all is interested I have taken over the Newnet IRC Network recently.. It basically shut down and I asked if I could revive it.
I have created a #fidonet channel for our purposes as well as a #NET342 channel for NET342 users if anyone would like to join and chat.
You can connect using your favorite IRC client or you could also use the web client on the newnet website.
