    I self studied with the help of OARC (Online Amateur Radio Community) to do my
    foundation exam. I have now started to study for the UK Intermediate exam.

    I live in Ireland and the communications regulator decided at the last moment, in
    December, to cancel all tests and put the whole process out to open tender. There
    is really only one body in Ireland who would be interested in running the exams,
    the IRTS. So I went the backdoor route
