    Ozone


    Days are a series of curfews,
    An onshore wind that moves

    the deep palmetto rales

    on narrow paths through wax myrtle
    and giant blue



    irises Under the moon everything is new




    Offshore halos bead
    the bleary horizon

    Even when the wind is hot

    it's cool the dollar wee and racachas
    bind the levee and the storm


    passes
    like an archangel
