    Isn't it beautiful - the tilde in the address, the lightweight pages
    that don't spy on you or sieze control of your web browser.

    I think it's great that the tildeverse has its own usenet. If I
    understand correctly, these groups don't propagate all over usenet.

    It's more of a hobby like an old vacuum tube glowing or a film camera~
    Sure it makes no sense but it's something awesome. I remember ~ben wrote
    on bulletin butter & jelly that it was his next project.

    Correct. Yet they can be reached from outside, just by pointing the newsreader correctly.

    I really admire people who manage to handle the commitment required to keep tildes alive.
