• If you use Windows, what IRC client do you use?

    From alexlehm@alexlehm@cosmic.voyage to tilde.meta on Mon Jan 30 20:35:40 2023
I have just gotten back into IRC because I am using SDF more and have joined the tildeverse.

I currently use Windows mit Quassel-IRC and I am happy with that except for a bit issue when migrating from an older version to the current one.

I wonder what IRC client you are using, especially if you use Windows.

When I use Linux (on Tilde) I use the weechat client in tmux, that works good as well.

    .

I used hexchat a while, I think I started with another client that was shareware or turned shareware and hexchat is a fork of that (something like that, I don't remember exactly) and at some point I switched to Quassel since someone recommended that

I kind of do that on computers that are not my "own" machine, I use mobaxterm and ssh or mosh to connect to tilde and run weechat
