• Evolution and nntp.aioe.org

Long-shot here, but I'm running Evolution (the email client) on my
laptop and I tossed in a connection to nntp.aioe.org for the gopher and
gemini channels. It works fine reading, but I have no idea how to reply
using that tool. Anyone go down this path before?

GNOME Evolution? I don't have direct experience on using Evolution
with NNTP; but I had use Netnews function in other email client software (Opera Classic, Claws Mail, Alpine). A characteristic common among them
is that email-style "Reply" on a Netnews post would produce a Netnews follow-up post, unless explicitly configured/selected otherwise.

This is the one of the main differences [1] from say... using old style Netnews client like SLRN or TIN where a "Reply" action would rather
mean reply via email to the post author. Netnews newbies usually
have the same confusion but in reverse when faced with traditional
    newsreader software.

Have a good old Netnews time,

[1] Another chracteristic is such desktop email client usually have
their own local message cache, likely in individual-file MIME format.
