By the way (off topic), I'm curious: which method you normally use on TIN
to post a follow up (i.e. reply) to netnews post?

Because your replies lately seem to lack the `References` header,
making them spill out of the thread and scatter all over the newsgroup,
and making it non-obvious that which message your post intended to
reply to [1]. This also make it difficult for other users to distinugish
new discussion threads.

I don't use TIN personally, but I have seen some people here use it, [2]
and you have made reply that correctly registered on the thread before. [3]

So I wonder if you have changed some settings in your newsreader,
or have changed the reply method; that may have affected this?
