President Biden appeared to mock reporters as they shouted questions at him >> during a meeting with Israeli President Isaac Herzog at the White House on >> Wednesday.

I have no sympathy for the media who treated Trump like shit for 4 years and conspired to install a hair-sniffing pervert dementia patient.

Oh I don't have sympathy for most of them, either, but it is hypocritical
of Democrats to act like it is nothing when they bemoaned Trump doing it.

    Stolen elections have consequences...

Yes, they do, as does influencing an election by only reporting on certain stories.

I don't know if you've been following it or not in Canada, but there is a congressional race in Pennsylvania between Dr. Oz, the TV personality, and a guy who had a stroke back in the Spring named Fetterman. Fetterman's handlers agreed to a debate. One of the early questions to Fetterman was what he thought made him qualified to hold the seat.

His answer started with, "Hi, good-night," followed by a pause. Several of
    his other responses were jumbled.

Since he is a Democrat, he is still leading in the polls, last I heard.

Circling back to Joe, it wouldn't shock me if he ran again and won.

We have the Nov 11th midterns to turn that vegetable into a lame duck. I also would love to start seeing some investigations into the FBI, Fauci, and many other appointed and corrupted entities. Lots of people need to be cleaned out. Similar to what Musk is doing at Twitter.

Just like there is no way in hell that Biden got all the votes that were reported, there is no way in hell these polls can be accurate. I never get called for any polls probably because my views don't reflect what the media wants.

There are about 20% of the population you can write off as being too ignorant to understand common sense. However, there has got to be 80% that can tie their own shoes and should be able to vote for someone that will make their lives better and understand basic economics.

Logs can be terse or detailed... a setting clearly documented.

    I'm elite. I don't read the documentation.

Is SciNet still up? I had it as a net but removed it a while ago because I thought it went down.

I don't think it is. the dude that was carrying it runs a wonkey bbs that emulates an old bbs software. he has sysop email disabled.

it should have gone down a long time ago when frank disappeared, anyways.

i was just checking into it because I fixed the settings for his other
    nets.

Yes and so did I... I dropped it from here when Netsurge/Frank pulled an I Goodbye and vanished. His unique personality made that net very popular an the hands of someone else it just turned into another dead useless Otherne

Myself and several others tried emailing, calling, texting him... you name he lives here in Toronto. Nothing... no replies. But apparently he was answering replies on some Commodore restoration business he was part of. T did not sit well with some Sysops who just wanted a simple explanation "wh

frank actually did that multiple times. he would disappear for a long time
and then come back. people thought he was in the hospital and people (including myself) emailed him and got no reply.

deathr0w from entropy bbs and myself were with frank from the beginning and
we gave him a lot of ideas. eventually he acted like he didn't even know me despite us talking every day in emails and irc. he literally acted like he didn't know me. so he started the bbs services thing after i had all my
stuff setup and he took the same scripts i used and stamped his name on them.

anyways, he was entirely focused on FACE. He wanted to be mr retro and he was real good at pretending to be people's friends. He basically he gave
everybody the ghost treatment in time.

I would check in on him because I like to see people fail, especially someone that tried to copy what i was doing. He says he's IT in a steelworker's
union and that should be enough money but he does all these side businesses.
He was trying to be a professional photographer, he was trying to do these websites with IT news, and all kinds of weird stuff. I don't believe it ever panned out. His several disappearances were never explained except that one time he said he had the swine flu.

Anyways, a friend to everyone is a friend to no one. He was a fair weather friend to everyone. I just don't get why he put in all that effort.

can you remember what year? that would be helpful because i'm trying to
go through a process of elimination to eliminate the issues. i can pull backups to when it WAS working and see what happened.

It was at least a year or two ago. Covid nonsense was still happening.

I did take the time to explain the settings that he had wrong. He said he understood... evidently not.

i think i have it working. he was probably rushing things.
there are other nets that arent working but i think they may be defunct.
I have 5 of the active ones working.

If he does not understand how to configure a mailer or is too busy with sc then he should not be part of message networks. Most expect regular pollin and a basic skillset-level. If the ZC of a net asks him to fix something wrong, he will now come to you because you allowed this to be "your proble

I've seen plenty of people that know everything about FTN fuck up things royally. They should know how to set things up. I've even fixed their work
on other people's systems. I don't remember much of this anymore because
it's been so long. I had Shannon Talley and Bryan Turner show me how to
setup nets with various softwares but it's been a loooong time. it's not rocket surgery, though.

And after months of trolling... now you want my help.

    that's a bit of a stretch. I just had a question.

Wrong echo for this. There is MIN_BBS and the D'Bridge echo on Fidonet.

if this was synchronet i could move it to another base.
I had to literally create a msg menu in one of his 100 menus[Dhidden msg menu in one of his 100 menus so could change conf, change msg area , read and newscan properly to check if things
    thanks for everything!
