    Thinkpad x1 Yoga 2nd gen, Intel I7-7600U

According to Intel numbering system for the "7600U" part, that
    *is* a 7th gen, not 2nd gen. (?)

    https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/ 000032203/processors/intel-core-processors.html

According to Lenovo site, the Yoga are up to at least Gen 13th
now. Do you use it as illustrated propped up like an A-frame?

NEVERMIND. I see what Lenovo is doing. They are co-using the
term "Gen" of their models with the Intel term for the chip
    "Gen"eration.

    Eg.

    ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 7 (14" Intel) 2 in 1 Laptop & Up
    Engineered to work from anywhere
High-performance 12th Gen Intelr CoreT vPro processing

The generation-designation has nothing to do with the CPU. Lenovo refers to each model of Yoga as generation level. Each Yoga generation has a class of functionality, CPU, accessories etc.

Do you use it as illustrated propped up like an A-frame?

Yes I can but prefer either regular laptop-mode or tablet mode. In this case the keyboard automatically folds into the frame and disables. Windows can be told to use the touchpen or onscreen keyboard.

The Yoga has a cellular Sim card slot. I have a data plan for it as my work
has me travelling a lot and need Internet "anywhere".
