    Hello Shawn,

07 Jan 23 10:57, you wrote to me:

I also have the only season of Automan, and all of Max Headroom. The
Max was really hard to find, ended up paying a guy on ebay a small
amount for downloads of his VCR rips from when it was new.

I used to have the Automan series too (loved Laura Branigan's appearance on the show) but lost it along the way.

Max Headroom was a weird but fun show. Matt Frewer did a great job.

I discovered that I have the entire series of "Emergency!" and the entire original "Leverage" series too.

I have to prioritize setting up a NAS soon so I quit losing stuff.

the tv show was a bit weird but it was also a bit ahead of its time.

he's still going strong and staring in tv shows and movies.

I lost my router password so can't foward a port or I'd let you
    grab it.

    He did.

I really should back things up, but I don't so when I loose a HDD I loose
    data.

I could set you up on my FTP server here. I'd still like that for "completeness". <G>

I'm gonna put it in the budget. Even if I start out with a NAS with a
single drive...better than what I have now: nothing.

    Hello Kurt!

[...] I bought a book called "The Incredible world of Spy-fi" by
a guy who collects TV memorobilia, especially old spy TV shows.

"So thorough is his collection that the CIA visited the
Archives and invited Biederman to display a portion from his
    massive treasury at CIA headquarters."

The shoe phone in Get Smart was always a good laugh.

He has a collection of Mission Impossible memorobilia,
like all of the newspapers, coins, passports, etc from the
fictional countries they infiltrated, the self-destructing
tapes and business cards that Jim Phelps used.

With an extensive collection like that, I suppose one can earn
a nice stipend to be invited to display pieces from the
collection as a kind of travelling museum.

At this point in my life, the emptier of "stuff" my house is,
    the better.

For a TV show, they did an amazing job creating a reality.

Bond had some nifty gadgets too.
