• Unintended downtime

    Hi everyone,

I was hospitalized from Monday night to this afternoon due to a nasty
reaction to one of the IV antibiotics I was on. The rash is disappearing
and I am on a new antibiotic regime (getting an infusion as I type).

I discovered when I got home, there was a power and Internet outage, both at different times, that shut down everything in my apartment. I've since restarted and rebooted everything and it all should be working now.

You forgot to tell the computers that you were just going to the kitchen to make sandwiches. ;-)

Glad to hear you're getting better!

    :-O

    Sounds good! =)

Waiting for a planned outage here sometime next week, which will force me to shut down things temporarily during one workday. I'll let you know as soon as I get more details.

    Best regards

Maybe they thought I was going to get milk and never come back.

Read somewhere else that you are feeling a bit better now. Good to know. :)

Somewhat. The double whammy of yet another IV antibiotic and high doses of anti-platelet medication has not helped matters for me. I really don't like leaving the house.
