Title: Old-Fashioned Chilli Dogs

Yield: 6 servings
1 lb Ground beef
1 c Water
8 oz Can tomato sauce
2 tb Chilli spice mix
1 ts Garlic powder
1 ts Onion powder
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Black pepper
6 Hot dogs
6 Hot dog rolls; split
1/2 c Chopped onion
1 c Shredded sharp Cheddar

In a large skillet, combine ground beef and water; cook
over high heat 5 to 7 minutes, or until meat is browned,
stirring occasionally. Add tomato sauce, chili powder,
garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper; mix well.
Bring to a boil then reduce heat to low and simmer 15 to
20 minutes, or until liquid has cooked down, stirring
occasionally.
Cook hot dogs in a pot of boiling water 3 to 5 minutes,
or until heated through. Place in rolls and top with
chili sauce. Sprinkle with onion and Cheddar cheese, and
serve immediately.
