    Finally, for its 55th anniversary, Paramount is converting the first 4 Star Trek movies in 4K on Sept. 7. Others will follow later next year most likely.

    I would love to see how the opening scene with the Klingons and V'Ger (and Mark Lenard!) looks at home in 4K. That scene was amazing as a kid in a
    movie theater who loved trek on the small screen.

    My favourite part was the blue parts for the cloud. That was beautiful special effects. When I bought the movie on VHS it had 12 mins extra footage on it too which was a bonus for me. Sure got my money’s worth and hoping the 4K is just as good. Too bad “The Wrath Of Khan” countdown was screwed up in editing. Only the first four movies will be released. So we’ll have to wait for 5 and 6 later.
