    Title: Oreo Dump Cake
    Categories: Five, Cakes, Cookies, Dairy
    Yield: 9 servings

    28 Oreo cookies
    14 oz Can sweetened condensed
    - milk
    8 oz Tub Cool Whip
    15 1/4 oz Box chocolate cake mix
    6 oz Butter

    Set your oven @ 350ºF/175ºC.

    Give your 13: X 9" baking pan a quick coat of cooking
    spray or butter, then spread out a single layer of Oreo
    cookies. In an even layer, pour the can of sweetened
    condensed milk over the cookies. Using a spatula, smooth
    the Cool Whip on top.

    Evenly sprinkle your chocolate cake mix over that. If
    there are lumps, rake them out with a fork. Finally,
    slice the butter and place it on top, covering as much
    surface area as possible to avoid dry spots.

    Don’t mix any of the ingredients!

    Bake for 40 to 45 minutes.

    The Oreo cookies on the bottom become a chocolaty crust,
    the condensed milk takes on the color and consistency of
    caramel, and the Cool Whip and butter create a cake with
    a brownie texture.

    Top this Oreo dump cake with fresh whipped cream for
    some cool sweetness. Yum!

    EDITOR’S TIP: The texture of this dessert is best when
    served warm. If the cake is overbaked or cold, the
    texture will be too hard.

    Title: Crisp Baked Chicken
    Categories: Diabetic, Poultry, Main dish
    Yield: 4 Folks

    4 Chicken portions; quarters
    -or breasts skinned
    1 tb Oil;
    1 tb Lemon juice;
    1 tb Wholegrain mustard;
    Salt to taste;
    Pepper to taste;
    1 tb Dried sage;
    2 tb Onion; grated
    1 1/2 c Fresh bread crumbs;

    Preheat the oven at 375 degrees. Place the chicken pieces in a greased
    baking dish. Place the oil, lemon juice, mustard, plenty of
    seasoning, sage and onion in a screw-top jar and shake well until
    everything is thoroughly combined. Brush the chicken pieces
    generously with the mustard-and-onion mixture, ensuring that they are
    particularly well coated on top. Press the soft bread crumbs on each
    chicken portion as it is brushed with the mixture to make, even

    crisp and golden outside and thoroughly cooked through and the juices
    run clear when pierced with the tip of a knife. Serve at once.
