    3 c Fruit juice;
    -(unsweetened--orange,
    -apple, pineapple,
    -grape--your choice)
    1 Banana
    1 Apple; peeled and chopped
    1/2 ts Dried mint
    1 Lemon; juiced
    1 Peach; peeled and chopped
    Pieces of fresh cantaloupe
    2 tb Honey; (to taste)
    1 c Yogurt; sourcream, or
    -buttermilk

    MMMMM--------------------SPICES, (YOU CHOOSE-------------------------
    1 ds Cinnamon
    1 ds Nutmeg
    1 ds Allspice
    1 ds Sweet wine

    MMMMM--------------------GARNISH, (YOU CHOOSE-------------------------
    Yogurt or sour cream
    Fresh mint
    1 Violet
    Rose petals

    Takes 10 minutes to prepare. It needs to chill.

    Unlike traditional Scandinavian fruit soups, which are cooked and
    contain rich ingredients like onions & garlic & dried fruit,
    Moosewood's fruit soups are served chilled and are very light.

    Moosewood serves as many different fruit soups as it has cooks.
    Working with whole fresh fruits and yogurt and a good blender, it's
    hard to miss. So, here is a sample recipe, quite basic.

    Try your own variations.

    Combine base and spice ingredients in blender. Thicken with more
    bananas or rogurt if you like it thick. Thin it with more fruit juice
    if you like it thin.

    Top each service with yogurt or sour cream and a garnish of your
    choice.
