    Hello Everyone,

I have an Echonet question if I might.

I'm considering using my Anytone 868 on Echonet but I can't find out any information about connecting the transceiver to my Windows PC. It came with a USB cable for programming it but I don't know if that would work with the Echonet software or not.

If the cable works then what programming of the radio would I need to do? Seems that you can't really do anything with these DMR radios without programming it first on your computer.

Has anyone here connected their Anytone to Echonet and if so, please elaborate.

Do you mean EchoLink? As far I know, it'll work with any audio input device that Windows recognizes. If your USB cable is only for programming your HT, then likely, it cannot be used as a Windows audio device.

    Dennis,

I have an Echonet question if I might.

Did you mean Echolink?? If so, I can possibly assist, as I use it
on my Windows 11 computer and my Android Smartphone. I've never heard
    of Echonet.

Also, I maintain a spreadsheet of selected D-Star, Echolink, and
D-Rats Nets from the first hyperlink off of my bio on QRZ.
