I can send netmail to my hub and it is received. The Hub shows netmail response is sent and if I read sbbsech correctly netmail is processed but when I log in, I can't seem to find the netmail received to read it.

Where can I look to see if I have something not configuered correctly,

I'd start with running

smbutil l /sbbs/data/mail

and see if the netmail is in the mail database. Maybe it got delivered to a different user somehow?

Your sbbsecho.log file. Read it carefully or post snippets here for us to help you understand what it's saying.
