I think they had 100MB, 250MB, and 750MD disks.

So you /think/ there was a 250mb drive, even though you actually /had/ one? Uh-huh.

Anyway, yeah, there were 100mb as well; I had one of those, still got a few disks. There was also the Jaz which came in one and two gig
versions. They had a few other storage devices over the years, but
these were the most popular.

Back in the 68K Macintosh days, you'd have geek cred based on how
tall your external SCSI tower was - you had to have a ZIP drive,
maybe a Jaz drive, the Apple CD ROM, maybe an external HD... I hated
SCSI conflicts - having to swap the order of drives to see if one of
them decided to terminate the chain...

Macs didn't come in 68K. The first Mac came with 128K.

Just jumping in, not addressing anyone in particular.
In my experience when people mention early macs and their 68k origins
they are refering to the CPU, not the ram. They started on the 68000
series cpu's. Same brains used also by Amigas and Atari ST's. And
we always just said 68k.
