I feel like I'm living in a virtual reality world now,
The real world has become dark somehow,
Plagued by so many tears that fall to the ground,
Will we wake up in the light one day,
Won't be lost but found in some way.

Before coivd hit, the conspiracy known as the simulation theory had been
rising in popularity. This idea has been played out in books and movies in
the last 50 or so years, however the idea that we're actually in a deep
sleep, trapped in someone or something else' dream goes back even further.
Movies such as the first Star Wars (ep 4) and the first Matrix film
demonstrate a concept several religions share regarding a person living in an empty dream until they are exposed to the truth or the way, and cannot go
back because they are no longer ignorant of the bigger picture. In Star Wars when Luke returned to find his home and relatives killed, the only direction
he could move was out into the bigger scheme of the universe.
