    this guy had all of this for free and it was a good deal. he screwed
    up the system multiple times an marissa fixed it for him. it really
    pisses me off to see freeloaders like this try to blame the provider.
    it takes no effort to make a backup and download it to home.
    I think there should be like first f-up is free, second and above f-ups,
    charge like 40 bucks each. But I used to in the past run a weekly batch
    file making a zip file of my critical bbs software files. It should be
    good practice for all of us.

    I agree. But I remember a time (I don't remember exactly when) when Hustler was frustrated at some of the things MarisaG was doing.. He was complaining about a service he was getting for free from her.

    I try to keep timely backups but sometimes something crashes and you just lo a whole day worth ot work. I don't want to know how losing all the work plac on a BBS service feels.

    It sucks! But the lesson is never rely on someone else other then yourself.

    how did a provider 'lose' his bbs when he had full access and could download backups. furthermore he claimed to have backups.
