So, the subject asks it all! I know in the US you guys have like, terrible drinks with corn syrup instead of actual sugar, but I feel the overall experience is the same? I have been living in Ireland (born and spent most of my life in Japan) so I am used to whatever formula served here.
Personally I don't often drink the regular ones because in Ireland there is an extra cost on drinks with a certain amount of sugar, but if I wish to splash the cash then I go for a Coca Cola. Maybe my 22 year old taste needs more refinement, who knows.
So, what do you guys prefer and why?

corn syrup is super sweet. real sugar is a totally different taste. i believe in the usa they use beet sugar. doesnt taste the same as
regular sugar to me.
anyways, stay away from sugary drinks. they are bad for your teeth.

I used to like Alimerka's white label cola drink. It was manufactured in Spain, so it seemed fitting.

I typically drink either very cold water or hot coffee but when I do decide to go for a soda I'll take Pepsi over Coke anyday. Pepsi doesn't seem to have that 'seltzer' fla
that Coke has. Also some of the recent racial comments from Coke's corporate offices aren't
something I agree with them doing. I'd rather support Pepsi.
... My computer keeps answering me back ! (No I don't)

store with two 24-can cases of Pepsi. One diet (for Mom) and one regular for everyone else.
Doesn't look like you can buy those 24-can cases anymore, it's all 12 packs now.
One of our provinces just announced a "pepsi" tax coming down the pipe, 20 cents per litre:

Are you talking about the "Be Less White" slides? Thanks for the
warning.
It looks like big soda manufacturers are tainted these days. With
Cocacola Company sold to the woke crowd and PepsiCo Spain in the Basque area, it looks like I can only buy soda from people who doesn't hate me
if I go with a small manufacturer.
Maybe it was a good thing they raised the taxes on sodas. Screw these people until they beg for mercy, then screw them some more.

I like both, but I don't drink fizzy drinks frequently. Maybe that's why I can't tell the difference in taste...
I tend to prefer Pepsi, as I like the taste better than Coke. But sometim ike a cherry Coke.

I don't really drink a lot of pop/soda anymore, but I remember awhile back Pepsi had this 1893 black can out which I quite enjoyed. It had real "kola nut" and "real sugar" in it. It was actually quite nice, though I haven't seen it on the shelves in a long while.
I don't remember seeing that where I am. But Pepsi and others have been making versions of their soda with "real sugar" for a while now. Lately, if I'm drinking soda, I've tended to choose the diet/no-sugar options though, as I don't want to consume so much sugar in my diet.

In the San Francisco bay area, taquerias began selling "Mexican Coke", in the traditional shaped glass bottle, made in Mexico with real sugar instead of high-fructose corn syrup. This started in the early 2000s.
It's nice, reminds me of the Coke I used to drink as a kid.

I thought Coca-Cola has started producing Coke for the US market using real sugar. I didn't think there's a real need to import Mexican Coke to the US anymore. Other brands (such as Pepsi) are making versions of theirs with real sugar too.

It's my understanding that only the Coke sold in the glass bottles is made with real sugar.

Just wanted to chat. I didnt mean to point fingers at anyone.
Only wanted to talk about tacos. :)
You really need to learn how to quote something of what you're replying

Most of them are actually HFCS now, but Mexican labeling isn't enforced
the same. So, you're getting expensive HFCS coke in a glass bottle.
