That latest atrocity - certified mail is screwed up. Cross-town
delivery used to take 3 days, now takes 10+. Letters delivered show as
In Transit on the web site. The most recent one shows as "ready for delivery" since 2/16.
If I didn't need to have a Post Office Box, I wouldn't have a damn thing
to do with the Postal Service. I had to get that, as folks were stealing
stuff off of my porch, and out of my mailbox.
1) An overnight package sent to Newington, Connecticut (outside of Hartford) took a week to arrive.
2) A priority 2 day package sent to Atlanta, sat in Memphis for 4 days...and weather wasn't an issue.
3) A card sent to the same zip code as mine, from the post office of said
zip code, took a month to get there.
4) Filling out a yellow HOLD MAIL card was worthless...they threw it in the trash.
5) Mailing to an address just 10 miles away takes a month to arrive.
And, they can't figure out why people are going to email, FedEx, DHL, UPS, etc.
