    That's not what I said.. I think fish is a meat. It was someone else who listed fish separately from meat, and I was questioning them.

    I am well aware that fish is a type of meat but it's usually not categorised as a meat in relation to the food groups. The nutritional value of fish is generally a lot higher than red meat or even poultry... that's probably why the Japanese have such a high life expectancy; their diet mostly revolves around fish/seafood.

    IMHO absolutely... some think of "meat" as only read meat/beef
    specifically... so usually mentioned separately just to avoid conflation/confusion.
