  • Horizon BBS?

    Anyone happen to know what happened to Horizon BBS? It got me back into BBSing back in Jan/2020 (after a very long hiatus), then the pandemic happened and my time for hobbies went to nil. I'm jumping back into things and was surprised to see it was gone, it seemed like a long-timer?

    i dont think it was a long timer. who was the sysop?

    the last time it polled vert was 02-06-21

    Perhaps wasn't really a long timer by the standards of a few of these sites ;) It had a TW2002 game that had been up for a year and I was mostly there for the doors, wasn't as interested in the forums at the time.

    Hmm, maybe a hiatus or something, I guess I'll keep an eye out for it.

    I was calling back in Jan-Feb 2020 and I recall it went down for a few days and I sort of lost interest. At the time it was the only one I was calling, I didn't realize the scene still existed.

    I've attempted to contact the sysop to see what's up. Looks like his domains have expired.

    bbses have almost no callers, so sysops often pack up without saying bye.
