My nephew drives for Uber Eats. He can make his rent in a few days work, but he says he has to be smart about which fares he accepts.

Yes barely earn much after expenses. Harassment is crazy haven't had issue with that. Never heard of them reporting if you turned down offers. I guess it could happen. It's tough out here.

I've thought about doing that on the side. I have a full-time job already, so with the limited time I'd have available to do delivery, I'm not sure how much extra I'd bring in and if it would be worth it.

if you want to make okay decent money on the side, get a cleaning job.
I had a job where i just did the floors at an oceanspray. i was the only guy that came in every day and they loved me. i would drive from my regular job and work 4-8pm and go home.

i had a lot of extra money and i could get new tires or go out and party with no issue.

you can also work at amazon and work a minimum of 20 hrs a month. it's very physical work and it's not for everyone. you also have to have an eye for detail for catching mistakes.

another thing i did on the side where i go my coworkers involved was we had a parttime job at dayton freight loading up trucks. it was fun working with people i already knew.

I did a little "HelloTech" work while between jobs a few years ago and it was definitely not worth it (financially speaking). If you're just bored and want to meet new and irritating people, however, go for it!

Yes. if you have extra time on your hands to make a food run, it's money in y our pocket. I worked on a project at a hospital in the middle of a busy
area, and one of our contractors on the team would stay around in the area after work to deliver food. Aperson trying to make more than pocket change will be more aggressive regarding choosing as many fares as possible.

I'm not aware of there are any penalties if a order pickup of fare is turned down. I know a few retired folks who pick up and run passengers to the airport, and give rides to and from work because they have the time.

I live in the middle of nowhere, fairly equidistant between four towns. I would lose money because I do not get paid for the trip to the customer, or th e trip home. These gigs work best if you live a few minutes away from downtown.
