Sorry for the delay in responding, the BBS has been a bit under the weather.
I wanted to send out an update in case anyone else spotted the thread and was having issues.

I did a clean install for Update #2 and all is well now. I'm not sure why my system didn't like the MUI update before Update #2, but I'm not having any problems since the update, which contained the new version of MUI.

The only change I spotted in MUI from before Update #2 vs after was when I put it on before if I ran AmigaAMP the song names would pop up on the bottom right with a blue background in the notification window. After Update #2 they're back to the bottom left with a white background. Obviously either way is fine,
I just happened to notice the change. Before the MUI update (without Update #2) they were also always on the left with a white background.

Did you try the re-install? How did it go?
