MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

Title: Pancake & Waffle Mix

Yield: 1 Batch

4 c A-P flour
2 c Cornmeal
3 ts Salt
4 ts Baking powder
2/3 c Liquid shortening (1/2 the
- amount for pancakes)
2 c Buckwheat flour
1 c Raw wheat germ
4 ts Soda

Mix together thoroughly the above ingredients. This mixture
may be used immediately or stored in a cool place for
future use.

When using it, take equal amounts of the mix and milk
(sour milk is best).

For pancakes, use 1 egg to 1 or 2 cups of the mix.

For waffles, use 1 egg to 1 cup of the mix.

This recipe is from "Amish Cooking" cookbook.
