XKCD is one of the few I still go back to regularly. Now, if you want 2001, here you go: http://www.oddtodd.com/index2.html
    (FYI, flash player is needed).

Unfortunately UserFriendly.org seems to be a bit abandoned by the author nowadays. I can see that a lot of the old strips have been recycled from the archives for the new entries, and I think I haven't seen any fresh entries since I've checked circa 2012 or so. It's a shame he's not updating as much
any more since the old stuff I find hilarious, but I fully understand him.

The archives run back to around 1995 or so, so it's now getting closer
to its 20th anniversary (ish). That's a long time, especially in tech
circles. I discovered this comic past its funny peak, around 2008/9/10 or so, but still immensely enjoyed the archives.

If you're a geek and like some humour in a comic strip format,
I really recommend reading through at least some of this stuff. I'd say
    it's worth it.

I really enjoyed that. It kind of reminds me of how Dr. Evil was impressed that his empire's legitimate business fronts made more money than he ever made being evil.
